We aim to present a balanced and comprehensive review of the development and performance of the group during the year and its position at the year end. Our review is consistent with the size and non-complex nature of our business and is written in the context of the risks and uncertainties we face. Principal Activity and Business Review The objective of this report is to present a review of the performance of the company during the year; its position at the year end; and the attendant risks. The company continues to provide road transport and logistics services to a range of customers with a strong focus on food related industries. These services are provided through: - the movement of bulk brewery products; - general distribution of palletised goods; - distribution of AdBlue both in bulk and packaged format; - warehousing; - IBC laundry / road tanker cleaning; - the movement of goods through a pallet network. This is done as a shareholder member of the Palletline Limited network. The company turnover in the year was below forecast which also meant that the profit after interest was not at the level expected, despite the addition of several additional key accounts. This was due to several factors. The commercial activity in certain key sectors was considerably quieter than forecasted with significant fluctuations in service requirements.
