OVERVIEW OF CHARITY’S ACTIVITIES The Trustees review the purpose, aims and activities of the Charity each year. This review looks at the achievements during the previous year, beyond just the finances, and explains how beneficiaries were assisted. When carrying out the review and planning future activities, the Trustees refer to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit and its supplementary guidance on the advancement of religion for public benefit. In particular the Trustees consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set. The Charity was established to serve and support the persecuted Church worldwide. The Charity is an integral part of the global ministry of Barnabas Aid, which is facilitated by Nexcus International, while Barnabas Aid retains its own identity and independence. Registered in the USA, Nexcus also has an operational office in the United Kingdom. The Nexcus office serves and assists the global ministry of Barnabas Aid. It provides all editorial materials (magazines, project reports, etc.) in addition to project administration and IT support. The Charity’s main activities involve funding projects that help poor and persecuted Christians in many countries around the world and fit the objects of the Charity.
