Accounts 2024We support health and wellbeing in the community by providing a high-quality service that is accessible to everyone. As a CIC we generate profits using our trade arm, and reinvest them into projects. We offer a fully chargeable service providing massage and holistic therapy from our premises at Chapeltown Community Nursery, profits from which have allowed us to provide 39 low-cost treatments in 2023-24. We also access grant funding to enable us to provide a free service for the benefit of the community. In 2023-24 we supplied a series of free complementary therapy sessions, including clinical and remedial massage, reflexology and Traditional Chinese massage, accessed by 30 local people in financial difficulty. We also provided a free clinical massage service for asylum seekers, accessed by 15 people, and the same for older people in our locality, accessed by a further 34 people. Finally, we provided a free weekly exercise class for elders in a local supported housing neighbourhood, accessed by 29 people, and a free Yoga class, based at the same venue, accessed by a further 38 people.
