During the 2024–2025 financial year, the company debuted it's first play as part of a local fringe festival, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s growth and creative development. The production achieved the following impact: - Sold out both performances, reaching a combined audience of over 300 people aged 10–65, demonstrating strong intergenerational appeal and community engagement. - Created seven paid roles across acting and scenographic roles, providing professional employment and practical experience for creatives from underrepresented backgrounds within the local community. - Offered emerging artists valuable work experience, strengthened professional networks, and created tangible pathways into the creative industries. In addition, the company was awarded funding through the Windrush Day Grant Scheme 2025 by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government. This funding enabled the delivery of several workshops culminating in a community celebration event. The project aligned with the scheme’s objectives to foster a greater sense of national pride and recognition of the historic and ongoing contributions of the Windrush generation and their descendants to UK society, while also supporting the development of young people’s skills, confidence, and entrepreneurial ambitions.
